SNAPCHAT – A new Photo Sharing app for ipod / androids
While doing homework during my time in the Windsor/Essex area, I decided to investigate a new application that has gone viral, called SNAPCHAT. Have you heard of it?? You will… 50million photos are sent DAILY!
It works on the iphone / ipod / ipad / android operating systems.
Basically, it allows you to send a picture to anyone with SNAPCHAT and have it “self destruct” in 5seconds, or 7 seconds, or 11 seconds – you set the time.
Kids are buying into the fact that this is “real”, and a better way to share because no-one will own the photo…. WRONG! It’s easy to capture the photo during the short time it is on the other persons phone.. real easy.
It has been linked to the new way for people to SEXT each other…
As always – LOOK AT YOUR CHILD’S DEVICE AND ASK WHAT EACH AND EVERY ICON IS ON THERE…
