Google Yourself!

Remember to “google” yourself periodically.  Visit google.com, and type in “your name” (quotation marks, the proper spelling of your name, closed quotation marks).  If you have a common surname, add other queries.  For example

“john smith”, ABC company, City Name

“angie marks”, ABC school, year

Keep in “the know” of what is available to the public
